Tortugas Banks Tube Sponges Located 70 miles west of Key West, Florida, the Dry Tortugas is secluded and pristine.  The Tortugas Bank is now an ecological reserve and the largest such reserve in North America.  Diving the Tortugas Bank will be the ulitmate dive.  The reef profiles are high with large overhangs, caverns and large swim troughs.  The water depths range from 45' to 80' with an average visibility of 50' to 120'.  We have many resident Jew Fish living in more than a few of our dive sites as well as a huge variety of tropical fish, big and small.  The corals and sponges are healthy and colorful.  Tortugas Banks - along the reefCurrents are moderate to strong.  When the currents are strong we prefer to drift dive to make your diving comfortable.  On most trips we will be the only vessel on the banks,  making your diving private to just you and your small group and the glorious marine life.Colorful reef on the Tortugas Banks
